The Final Challenge

Elite Four

Eight badges earns you the right to challenge. Here's exactly how that works.

How to Challenge

After you have gained 8 badges from the Philadelphia Pokémon League (Legacy Badges count towards this total), email Contact@PhillyPokemon.com with the subject line ELITE 4.

In this email, provide your official intent to challenge the Elite Four as well as a picture of yourself with at least 8 badges — we'll use this picture for your announcement post on the Facebook group, so make it look good!

We'll then collect submissions and assign a non-tournament league night to hold their Elite Four challenge. Submission priority is determined by availability, with scheduling priority given to first-time challengers over challengers going after it again.

Before list submissions, we assign 4 Gym Leaders secretly to each challenger, plus a 5th leader to act as moderator for the challenge. The moderator emails the challenger, assigns a date, and requests their full team submission — the selected Gym Leaders will have no knowledge of the Challenger's team prior to the challenge. List submissions must be approved at least 2 weeks before your scheduled Elite Four.

We only hold one Elite Four challenge maximum on any given non-tournament league night. All Elite Four matches will be televised on the big screen if able.
